Report: Tiger Woods' ex-girlfriend is filing an appeal in case against him
Erica Herman has reportedly taken her case against Tiger Woods to an appeals court in Florida.
Tiger Woods' ex-girlfriend, Erica Herman, is reportedly filing an appeal in her case against the 15-time major champion.
Herman first filed a lawsuit against Woods earlier this year.
According to Herman, Woods pursued a sexual relationship with her while she was still an employee at his restaurant. She claims he forced her to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), threatening her job.
However, Herman claims she doesn't remember signing the NDA - which requires any disputes between the two to be settled in private arbitration - according to a report by USA Today Sports.
Herman has also accused the 47-year-old of sexual harassment, according to court documents.
The purpose and aim of the lawsuit is to get Herman out of this said NDA.
However, on 17 May, Herman's suit was rejected by a Florida judge.
And after asking for the ruling to be reconsidered, Herman's attempt was denied a few weeks later, on 2 June, by the same judge.
Now, it appears as though Herman is continuing to battle the case.
On Friday, according to USA Today Sports, Herman filed a notice of appeal. She will reportedly be taking her case to Florida's Fourth District Court of Appeal.
In addition to the lawsuit against Woods, Herman also has a lawsuit against the trust that owns his $30m mansion in Florida.
Earlier this week, Woods made headlines when it was reported that he will not be playing in the Open Championship next month as he continues his rehab following an ankle surgery in April.
