REPORT: Ex-girlfriend of Tiger Woods wants court to reconsider initial ruling
The on-going legal battle between Tiger Woods and his ex-girlfriend continued this week.
The on-going legal battle between Tiger Woods and his ex-girlfriend Erica Herman continued this week.
Back in early May, according to court documents, Herman had accused Woods of sexual harassment.
According to Herman, Woods allegedly pursued a sexual relationship with her while she was working at his restaurant. She says he forced her to sign a (Non-Disclosure Agreement) NDA, threatening her job at his restaurant in the process.
On 17 May, news broke that the Florida judge had ruled in Woods' favour.
As a result, Herman had to abide by the agreements in the NDA. This meant their dispute would be settled in private arbitration.
However, now, according to Golf Channel's Rex Hoggard, Herman has requested that the South Florida court reconsider that ruling.
On Wednesday, Herman reportedly filed for four issues to be reconsidered by the court.
According to Hoggard, the filing also stated:
The filing on Wednesday from Herman's attorneys also said that Woods' side were attempting a “trial by ambush." They claimed that the NDA copy used was not "authenticated."
Herman was suing the 82-time PGA Tour winner and the trust that owns his mansion in Florida for $30m.
