Tiger Woods leads group of five golfers in Forbes Top 100 earners
Woods takes home $42 million from endorsements; Mickelson the oldest in top 100.

Tiger Woods ranked 16th in Forbes Magazine's annual list of the top 100 highest-paid athletes in the world, with five golfers finishing inside the top 70 over a 12-month span.
Woods, 42, collected a cool $43.3 million, of which $42 million came from endorsements.
The list compled salary/winnings and endoresment money, with boxer Floyd Mayweather taking the top spot with a whopping £285 million. Barcelona's Lionel Messi moved narrowly ahead of Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo into second with $112 million.

Phil Mickelson, who is going for the career grand slam at next week's US Open, was next on the list in 22nd ($41.3 million) for the golfers and he was also the oldest athlete at the age of 47 to make the top 100.
Jordan Spieth sat right behind him in 23rd ($41.2 million), with Rory McIlroy lying at 27th ($37.7 million).
Justin Thomas was the only other golfer to crack the top 100, listed at 66th with $26 million.
Everyone on Forbes' list was paid at least $22.9 million over a 12-month span.
Not a single sportswoman made the top 100.
