How much every player won at the Italian Open

The Italian Open concluded on Sunday, as Bernd Wiesberger claimed his third European Tour victory of 2019 and the seventh of his career. Matthew Fitzpatrick was close once again, but a costly error at the ninth allowed Wiesberger to take the lead.

Wiesberger was three shots back going into Sunday's final round, but the Austrian put together a fantastic closing round of 65 to win the Italian Open by one shot.

The 34-year-old is now 22nd in the world rankings, a career best, while he also sits at the top of the Race to Dubai rankings.

Wiesberger, who continues to look impressive week after week, will be doing all he can to gain automatic qualification for Padraig Harrington's 2020 European Ryder Cup team at Whistling Straits and if he continues his current form then there's a strong chance Wiesberger will make his Ryder Cup debut next year.

The Italian Open was the fifth Rolex Series event of the year, with the total prize purse being €7 million and Wiesberger taking home the winners share of €1,059,540.49.
