Stay warm and swing easy with Glenbrae
New knitwear with style
Although Spring is just around the corner, there’s still more than a nip in the air – not to mention 80mph winds – so there’s still plenty of time to get lots of use out of your golf jumper before the polo shirts come out to play.
Performance knitwear brand Glenbrae Golf has added three new lined sweaters to its flag ship Spirol Lambswool collections, which features the company’s Seamless Technology, which claims to offer greater freedom to swing due to the absence of bulky seams. It’s also machine washable, maintains its shape and promises not to fluff up.
The Spirol Lambswool Men’s collection is available in drop shoulder crew neck (£50), V-neck (£50) and V-neck slipover (£40) styles, in a variety of indescribable colours (i.e. you need to see them to know what colour they mean), including Mocca, Kingfisher, Juniper, Tulip and Pampas, which supplement the traditional favourites of navy, black and claret.
This season also sees the introduction of lined sweater technology into the Glenbrae range for the very first time. The Europa Classic Lined Zip Neck Sweater (£55) is made from an 80 per cent Lambswool 20 per cent Polyamide mix with an outer water resistant coating and wind resistant tricot stretch lining and features a drop needle sleeve, lock down zipper with tipping on all cuffs and an internal chest embroidery pocket. Available in sizes S-XXL in three colours, Dusk, Charcoal and Mocca.
Those who prefer a crew neck should take a look at the Negal sweater, which features a harlequin pattern design and is constructed from 100 per cent Merino wool and the same technology as the Europe. Available in Charcoal Multi and Mocca Multi with an RRP of £60.
