Phil Mickelson and Peter Uihlein take OUTRAGEOUS lines off tee at LIV Golf Tulsa
The short par-4 12th at LIV Golf Tulsa is tempting players to take a very brave line!
LIV Golf's Peter Uihlein and Phil Mickelson were both seen taking an outrageous line down the par-4 12th during their practice rounds at Cedar Ridge on Wednesday.
Uihlein, who was traded to Dustin Johnson's 4 Aces GC this season, was seen ripping a fade between two flags down the left flank in a bid to try and find the green guarded by water at the short 369-yard par-4 12th at LIV Golf Tulsa.
Mickelson, on the other hand, favoured a big draw starting his ball outside of the first pole.
The water is said to be a 350-yard carry, so there is no holding back!

Whether Uihlein and Mickelson take such brave lines during tournament play this week remains to be seen, but judging by their cracking efforts they are clearly both thinking about it... and no doubt many others like Bryson DeChambeau will be, too.
If the ball hits one of the flags then it could end up going 35 yards, similar to what happened to Adam Scott on the 18th hole at last week's Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow.

The 12th at Cedar Ridge for LIV Tulsa this week is a 369 yard dog leg that requires a lay up off the tee. Peter Uihlein took a different option in practice though. There’s no laying up at LIV!

Nothing to see here. Just lefty trying to thread the tee marker and flag poles, get it over the trees and fly the water that’s a 350 yard carry, in an attempt to drive the green. The 12th at Cedar Ridge looks like fun! @PhilMickelson @HyFlyers_GC

Last week, Uihlein became the latest name to withdraw from the LIV Golf lawsuit against the PGA Tour.
This means just two players remain from the original 11 that were down on proceedings.
Uihlein's decision to step down means Bryson DeChambeau and Matt Jones are the remaining two LIV Golf players on the lawsuit.
LIV Golf is claiming damages for what it says is "the PGA Tour’s bad faith and egregious interference with LIV Golf’s contractual and perspective business relationships."
The LIV vs PGA lawsuit took a fresh twist recently, which we covered in more detail here.

News emeged earlier today that LIV Golf's Sam Horsfield will be out on the sidelines for the next 'few months' after he underwent a successful surgery this week to deal with a hip injury.
That means the Majesticks, which is co-led by Henrik Stenson, Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood, have had to call in a substitute player for upcoming events.
LIV Golf Tulsa marks the sixth of 14 events this week.
Talor Gooch, who was replaced by Uihlein in the 4 Aces team this season, is bidding to win a third consecutive LIV Golf League event.
