LIV Golf stars joke about schedule after 36 holes at Sentosa Golf Club
Talor Gooch has continued his fine run of form and shares the 36-hole lead at LIV Golf Sentosa.
Talor Gooch has continued his impressive run of form in the LIV Golf League.
It's been an interesting time of late for Gooch, the 31-year-old American pro who bolted from the PGA Tour last year and caused a stir amongst his peers.
He slept on a mammoth 10-stroke lead after 36 holes at LIV Golf Adelaide and just about managed to capture the individual title.
This week after two days' play Gooch leads the way once again, but he has some company.
Gooch - who complained about the USGA retroactively changing the exemption category for the forthcoming U.S. Open - is tied with Fireballs captain Sergio Garcia at 13-under.

Garcia, in particular, hit all 18 greens in regulation at Sentosa Golf Club.
Brooks Koepka has also continued his strong form and is in solo third at 9-under, tied with Scott Vincent who carded a sublime 62.
Gooch said:
Elsewhere, in the team element, Gooch's RangeGoats are tied with Phil Mickelson's HyFlyers at 25-under, followed by Cameron Smith's Ripper in third.
All three teams are yet to taste an individual victory.
Bubba Watson didn't celebration Gooch's win in Australia. Here's why.
The individual champion this week will scoop the top prize of $4m. The winning team will split $3m.
Gooch and Garcia were also asked about the future of LIV. Would they like to see more than 14 events on the schedule?
Garcia joked that he came to LIV to play less, not more.
Here's the full exchange with a reporter:
Q. I'd just like to know, would you like for the LIV Golf to have more than 14 events?
