Golf club managers and greenkeepers across Great Britain have been recommended a 5% increase in salaries, according to the Committee for Golf Club Salaries (CGCS).
The CGCS is made up of The PGA, England Golf, Golf Club Managers' Association and the British & International Golf Greenkeepers Association.
The 5% increase in pay has come about due to the dramatic increase in participation of golfers during the Covid pandemic, as well being calculated due to the current rise in inflation.

CGCS has also advised that golf clubs across Great Britain give serious consideration to the mental health and general well-being of staff during these difficult times in a global pandemic.
