Bryson DeChambeau won his maiden major title on Sunday after he finished as the only player to shoot below par at Winged Foot in what proved to be a difficult scoring week for the majority of the field.
Finishing the tournament 6-under par, DeChambeau won the US Open by six shots, with youngster Matthew Wolff, who led by two going into the final round, finishing in second place.
DeChambeau showed off his power throughout the tournament, hitting numerous driver over 350 yards, although he only hit 23 fairways all week, the lowest number of any US Open champion in history.
Along with the US Open trophy, DeChambeau also took home $2,250,000 for his victory, whilst Wolff earned $1,350,000 for his second place finish.
