That's three bogeys in a row for Mickelson and nine overall.
Rose +2 (10)
Former champion Rose turned in three-over par but has started his back nine well.
Rosey birdied the first hole, converting a 14-foot birdie putt after splitting the fairway with his drive.
He followed that with two consecutive pars.
Woods +3, Fitzpatrick +2, Zalatoris +2 (14)
A welcome birdie for Woods, who takes advantage of the par-5 fifth.
Big cat found the green with two strokes, but his eagle putt drifted right of the cup.
Still, an easy four at a crucial time for Woods.
Koepka -2 (13), Pavon -4 (11)
Brooks finds trouble off the tee at the 13th and ends up having 17 feet to try and save his par.
He misses and slips back to two-under.
Meanwhile our leader loses a stroke at the par-4 11th hole after finding the left greenside trap from the fairway.
He left himself some 50 feet for par.
It was a good effort and he tidies up from two feet for the five.
Thomas +6 (13)
JT's card makes for miserable reading today.
Seven bogeys, one birdie, and four pars.
Woods +4, Fitzpatrick +2, Zalatoris +2 (13)
Grim stuff for Tiger now.
He manages to hit one of the shots of the year out of the waste area at the 12th to leave himself five feet for par but he misses it.
The strange thing about this is he's actually looked fairly solid.
Still, he's responded with a good tee shot at the next.
Needs a birdie.
Pavon -5 (10)
Wow.
Just the two eagles for Matthieu Pavon after only playing 10 holes of this US Open.
Pavon eagled the fifth and now he's managed a three at the 10th hole.
From the middle of the fairway, Pavon takes dead aim from 288 yards then converts the 27-footer.
Woods +3, Fitzpatrick +2, Zalatoris +2 (12*)
Tiger manages to stop the run of bogeys with a par at the third.
He's in trouble at the next though, and has another tester coming up.
Rors has arrived.
The Northern Irishman tees off at 6.14pm BST.
Koepka -3 (11)
Aberg -3 (10)
Pavon -3 (9)
Cantlay -2 (11)
Henley -2 (11)
Finau -2 (10)
E. Molinari -2 (8)
Mack III -2 (6)
Garcia -1 (12)
Fowler -1 (10)
Cantlay -2 (10)
After finding the left edge of the fairway at the first, Cantlay hits a towering iron shot from 157 into the first green.
And what a shot it was, eventually settling five feet from the cup.
Can he drain it? Of course.
He moves to within one of the lead.
Johnson +3 (9)
DJ hasn't been the same for a while, has he?
Sure, he's earned a few bob on LIV and even won on the breakaway tour.
But it's looking like another forgettable major experience for the 39-year-old.
He needs find something quickly before this round really gets away from him.
Pavon -3 (8)
Wow. Some start for Pavon.
He jars a 37 footer from across the green at the par-4 eighth to join Koepka at the summit.
Fitzpatrick +2, Woods +3, Zalatoris +2 (11)
That's four bogeys in five holes for the big cat.
Once again it's a loose iron shot that is Woods' undoing.
He blocks his approach and misses right again and, although his chip left with nine feet to save par, the 15-time major champ cannot convert.
Garcia -1 (10)
Sergio has made a superb start at Pinehurst No.2 and is yet to drop a shot.
His sole birdie came at the par-5 fourth.
Finau -2, Aberg -2 (9)
Swedish phenom Aberg moves to within one of Koepka.
Aberg stuck his approach at the 18th to inside five feet and had no problems converting.
Meanwhile, Finau was made to work just a tad bit harder for his three.
The American would've been disgusted leaving his approach from 135 yards to approximately 35 feet.
Still, he rolls in the birdie putt.
Koepka -3 (10)
Oh, hello, Brooksy!
Koepka takes the solo lead after draining a 30ft bomb for birdie on the 10th green.
The five-time major champ leads by one.
Mickelson +6 (9)
What a nightmare start to this championship for Phil the Thrill.
The 53-year-old only managed to pars on his front nine, which came at the fifth and seventh holes.
Mickelson made bogeys on every other hole and is now six-over par.
Salinda -2 (5)
Hot start from the 27-year-old American.
After a run of four pars, Salinda eagles the fifth.
Salinda's approach from 235 yards ended up around 20 feet from the hole.
Woods +2, Fitzpatrick +2, Zalatoris +1 (10)
Not the best of starts for Woods and Fitzpatrick as both drop shots at the first hole.
Woods seemed befuddled his short par putt didn't break left.
Fitzpatrick couldn't learn from Woods' effort and saw his par attempt also miss right.
Meanwhile Zalatoris ticks off another par.
Cantlay -1 (9)
No hat Pat takes advantage of the short par-4 18th to move into the red numbers.
The American has been off his game so far this year but is looking comfortable on the greens so far.
Morikawa (+2) (9)
Collin makes a complete hash of the par-3 ninth.
The American's chip near the trap just kept on rolling and he ended up off the green on the other side!
After Brooks Koepka missed his birdie putt to take the solo lead, Morikawa misses his bogey putt from nine feet.
Their playing partner Justin Thomas tapped in for a par.
