Final Scores and Best Photos: 2025 Masters Par-3 Contest at Augusta National
The annual Masters Par 3 Contest was held at Augusta National on 9 April ahead of the first men's major of the year.
The Par 3 Contest has been a Wednesday tradition at The Masters dating back to 1960.
Tournament participants as well as past champions are invited to play a beautifully manicured nine-hole course which is set around DeSoto Springs Pond and Ike's Pond.
Golfers often bring their wives, girlfriends or their children to caddie for them.
Rory McIlroy's daughter Poppy was the star of the show and even sent the crowd into a frenzy by draining a long-range putt at the 9th.
Who won the 2025 Masters Par-3 Contest?
Nico Echavarria and J.J. Spaun won the 2025 Masters Par-3 Contest.
They both played nine holes in 5-under par.
LIV Golf star Tyrrell Hatton finished one shot back in solo third on 4-under par.
No player has ever won The Masters Par-3 Contest and gone on to win The Masters in the same week.
So if any of you have placed wagers on Nico or J.J. this week then you may as well start scrunching your tickets!

It should be noted when looking at the Masters Par-3 Contest scores that a lot of players don't take it that seriously, at least from a scoring perspective. For many players with young families, the Par-3 Contest becomes one of the most special days of the golf season as they play the game alongside their loved ones.
Many of the players hit tee shots and then let their significant other or child take the putting from there. And once that happens they are automatically out of the running when it comes to winning the Par-3 Contest.
As we have already mentioned, McIlroy's four-year-old daughter Poppy McIlroy drained a monster 40-foot putt on the 9th hole to send the patrons wild!
