Augusta National weather: What's the forecast for the 2025 Masters?

The Masters weather forecast is predicting three tournament days of sun with the possibility of one day of rain at Augusta National.

With Monday’s practice round halted by heavy rain, fears the 2025 Masters might be impacted by constant showers have been put at ease by the latest weather reports coming out of Georgia. 

Monday saw a threat of thunderstorms and that meant practice was suspended and patrons were evacuated from the grounds.

Will there be rain at The Masters?

According to AccuWeather forecasts, Thursday's first round is set to be overcast with only a 6% chance of precipitation.

Friday's second round looks to have broken intervals with occasional showers, totalling two hours worth of rain.

It appears a different story for the weekend, however, as both Saturday and Sunday are predicted to have a 0% chance of precipitation.

What will the wind be like at The Masters?

In terms of wind expected at Augusta National, Thursday should see 11km/h winds with gusts up to 28km/h, while Friday is predicted to be the trickiest day for players with an expected 17km/h winds and gusts of 44 km/h.

The wind should die back down for the weekend though with 11km/h winds predicted for Saturday with 24km/h gusts, and 7km/h winds with just 22km/h gusts for Sunday's all-important final round. 

What will the temperature be at The Masters?

The hottest day of the 2025 Masters is expected to be Thursday's first round, with highs of 24°C (75.2°F).

Friday is predicted to reach 21°C (69.8°F).

The coldest day is set to be Saturday, with highs of just 18°C (64.4°F), while Sunday, with just 5% of cloud cover, will have highs of 21°C (69.8°F).

It appears the 2025 Masters has come too early if you were after a hot and sunny tournament, as the following week is predicted to see temperatures rise to 28 (82.4°F).
