Rory McIlroy's entrance music on TGL debut surprises nobody
Four-time major champion Rory McIlroy made his long-awaited debut in Tomorrow's Golf League on 27 January.

Golf fans weren't in the least bit surprised with the entrance music Rory McIlroy chose for his TGL debut.
McIlroy made his long-awaited first appearance in the hi-tech league with his Boston Common Golf side on 27 January.
The Northern Irishman and his teammates - Keegan Bradley and Adam Scott - faced off against the 15-time major champion, Kevin Kisner and Tom Kim.

Unsurprisingly, Woods, 49, decided to march out into the SoFi Center to Survivor classic 'Eye of The Tiger' when he made his debut in the new venture on 15 January.
His teenage son Charlie reportedly told his father that he felt his entrance was awkward.
It was speculated that McIlroy was going to walk out to The Cranberries' 'Zombie' given that was the tune European fans serenaded the golfer with as he played a starring role during the 2023 Ryder Cup in Italy.

European fans changed the lyrics of the chorus to: "He's in your head, he's in your head... Rory! Rory! Rory!"
Instead, McIlroy and all of his teammates made a WWE-like entrance into the purpose-built arena to The Dropkick Murphys' classic anthem 'I'm Shipping Up to Boston'.

The four-time major champ even gave a high five to Donald Trump's granddaughter Kai before the action got underway.
McIlroy hit the first tee shot in the match and he split the fairway with an absolute bomb.

His team threw down 'The Hammer' after Woods missed a short par putt.
That meant McIlroy and Boston had the chance to take a 2-0 lead right out of the gate but he missed his effort low.
Speaking before the match, Woods was adamant that his side would come out on top despite not being the betting favourites.
His team were trounced 12-1 by Los Angeles during their first match.
The Bay won the first ever TGL match against New York 9-1.
