Explained: Why Brooks Koepka made a surprise TGL appearance
LIV Golf's Brooks Koepka made a surprise appearance at the SoFi Center in Florida ahead of the latest round of TGL matches.
Is Brooks Koepka heading back to the PGA Tour?
Have we finally achieved peace in our time in elite men's professional golf?
Has Koepka done a Tony Finau and signed a short TGL contract?
These were the questions being asked after the American made a surprise appearance at the SoFi Center in Florida ahead of Jupiter Links' TGL match against The Bay.
Koepka - and his glamorous wife Jena - were spotted mingling with TGL competitors on Tuesday evening.
The five-time major champion was grinning from ear-to-ear as he caught up with the likes of Wyndham Clark, Max Homa, Kevin Kisner, Tom Kim and Shane Lowry.
As a LIV Golf player, the 34-year-old is prohibited from taking part in TGL given the PGA Tour own 20 per cent of Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods' venture with TMRW Sports.

Had he not joined LIV, it's not unreasonable to think that Koepka would have almost certainly been involved.
Whilst it is impossible to stop the conspiracy theories flying, there is one simple reason why Koepka was watching TGL.
The golfer has a business interest with the indoor league.
Last October, Koepka invested in Locker Room.
Locker Room - an athlete investment fund - has also ploughed money into TMRW Sports.
Koepka previously said of his investment: "Locker Room is unlike anything I've been involved in before.

"It's not just another investment opportunity – it's a chance to actively grow companies I'm genuinely passionate about.
"As an athlete, it's empowering to invest in ventures that align with my personal interests and values."
Whilst Koepka will not be involved in TGL anytime soon, we could see him taking part in the future.

TMRW Sports co-founder, Mike McCarley, suggested at the turn of the year that he was open to the idea of having LIV players involved.
His comment caught the attention of Bryson DeChambeau.
DeChambeau later said he thought the idea of joining TGL was interesting.
But he would only entertain the idea if his LIV team, the Crushers, could take part.
He said: "Would it be fun? Yeah, it could be fun. I don't know if they'd pick me though."
