Wyndham Clark denies cheating claims then admits he wants relegation on PGA Tour
US Open champion Wyndham Clark: "I think it would be amazing if the PGA Tour was 100 guys."
Wyndham Clark admits he would like to see just 100 players competing on the PGA Tour with a new relegation system in place.
Clark, 30, made his feelings be known about the PGA Tour after clearing up cheating claims on the 18th hole in the third round at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
The reigning US Open champion was questioned over whether he had moved his golf ball in the deep rough with his iron.
Clark cleared things up after the round when saying: "I'm not cheating or anything like that or trying to improve my lie."
Clark went on to bogey the par-4 18th to fall one shot out of the lead on 8-under par.
World No.1 Scottie Scheffler and Ireland's Shane Lowry are out in front on 9-under par.
