Scottie Scheffler landed a whopping $3.6m first prize for capturing his sixth PGA Tour title in his last 10 starts with playoff victory over Tom Kim at the Travelers Championship.
Scheffler, 28, has now become the first player since Tiger Woods (2009) to win six tournaments in a regular PGA Tour season.
Woods (2000) also holds the record for nine wins in a season alongside Vijay Singh (2004).
The 2024 Travelers Championship had a huge $20m prize purse and it marked the eighth and final signature event of the PGA Tour season.
