Rickie Fowler makes huge announcement after Masters curse strikes again
PGA Tour star Rickie Fowler and his wife Allison have confirmed over Instagram they are expecting another baby girl in August.
Rickie Fowler and his wife Allison have confirmed their family is growing to four.
The golf couple took to Instagram on Tuesday evening to confirm they are having another little girl.
Fowler and Allison already have a daughter named Maya, who was born on 18 November 2021.
The couple says the baby's due date is 4 August, just in time for the Olympic Games in Paris.
Fowler has made no secret of his desire to compete in the Olympics once again.
The Ryder Cup was the 'ultimate goal' last year according to Fowler and now he has turned his attentions to Paris.
To make the team, Fowler will have to be among the 15 best players in the world and among the four best Americans.
Fowler is currently ranked No.39 in the Official World Golf Ranking after a slow start to the 2024 season.
Informing his Instagram followers of his latest news, Fowler wrote on X: "May with shoes ready for her baby sister.
"We're excited to be foursome later this summer."
The aforementioned Maya stole the show at last week's Masters Par 3 Contest alongside Jordan Spieth's son Sammy.
“Been around plenty of the little kids over the years, but a little different when we have our own out there,” Fowler said.
“So special way for us first time having my daughter with my wife and I, and something we'll always have.”
Fowler won the annual contest and the Masters curse couldn't be broken.
No player has ever won the hit-and-giggle affair and gone on to wear the green jacket.
Fowler managed to make the cut and ended the first major in a tie for 30th alongside Jason Day, Si-Woo Kim, Tom Kim and J.T. Poston.
Fowler and Allison are not the only golf couple expecting.
Masters champion Scottie Scheffler and his wife Meredith are expecting their first child in the coming weeks.
As is PGA Tour star Sam Burns and his wife Caroline.
