PGA Tour star reveals why he's not returning to X / Twitter: "It's for the sick, I was sick..."
PGA Tour star Max Homa admits he has decided to turn his back on social media platform X / Twitter and he will just stick to TikTok for now.

PGA Tour star Max Homa has revealed he has turned his back on X / Twitter after claiming he is "just trying to get healthy now".
Homa, 34, still has an activated X / Twitter account but he has not made a post on the social media platform run by Elon Musk since 3 February.
The six-time PGA Tour winner was once regarded as the unofficial King of Golf Twitter with regular barbs and exchanges with fellow pros and golf fans.
One particular example came in January when Homa and LIV Golf side Cleeks GC had a bit of banter on X / Twitter.

But the King of Golf Twitter now appears to be stepping down from the throne.
And seemingly for good reason because he wants to feel "healthy" again.
Homa revealed during his latest appearance on TGL on Tuesday night that he "had a come to Jesus moment that it [X / Twitter] is for the sick."
He added: "I was sick. I'm just trying to get healthy now. I have not enjoyed that app. It's not very fun.
"It's fun to watch our little highlights or lowlights, and that stuff is fun.
"The rest of it's probably not great, so I'm going to stick to TikTok.”
#FOR THE SICK: Max Homa was asked if he’ll be back on X now that his TGL season is over: “No, I think I finally had a come-to-Jesus moment that it's for the sick. I was sick. I'm just trying to get healthy now. No, I have not enjoyed that app. It's not very fun. It's fun… pic.twitter.com/fhmITloLLT

Homa represents Tiger Woods' Jupiter Links GC on TGL.
The team was battered 9-1 by Atlanta Drive GC.
It means Jupiter Links miss out on the Playoffs.
They now join Rory McIlroy's Boston Common Golf on the sidelines.
It's a big blow for just about everyone involved, especially given Woods and McIlroy are co-founders of TGL.
Woods also made a sad admission.
As Homa mentions in his latest quotes, he posts much more regularly on TikTok now.

Homa is in competitive action at this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational at famed Bay Hill.
He has endured a wretched run of form on the PGA Tour for really the past two years, slumping all the way from fifth down to a current 66th in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR).
Homa signed a new deal to play with Cobra Golf at the start of this season.
It's unfortunately done little to ignite the fire so far though with a best result of T26 so far on the PGA Tour in 2025.
Homa enters this week off the back of consecutive missed cuts at the WM Phoenix Open and Genesis Invitational.
He is priced accordingly to win at 150/1.
