PGA Tour fans react to Patrick Cantlay snubbing 5-year-old for autograph at RBC Heritage
Golf fan takes to social media to reveal PGA Tour star Patrick Cantlay 'said no' to a youngster asking for an autograph during his practice round at the RBC Heritage.
Patrick Cantlay reportedly snubbed a youngster who asked for an autograph while he walked from the range to the course during his practice day at the RBC Heritage, according to one PGA Tour fan on the scene at Harbour Golf Town Links.
'Practice round at RBC and 5-year-old asked for Patrick Cantlay autograph and he said no and walked away," tweeted @Bodge17 on X / Twitter.
"It's a freaking practice round and he's walking away from the range.
"Keep in mind, Xander, A. Scott and SW Kim signed everything ON the course."
Multiple social media accounts then shared the golf fan's' comments.
But the golf fan in question has since deleted his post about Cantlay, 33, after his initial thoughts blew up on social media.
"I deleted a post from yesterday regarding a certain PGA Professional," tweeted the fan.
"It wasn’t my intention for it to receive the attention that it did.
"I was merely making an observation and it took off."

It's fair to say the golf fan's post has divided opinion with golf fans.
Some PGA Tour fans consider Cantlay has every right to do what he wants and doesn't have to stop during a practice round if he doesn't want to, even for a little kid.
Others seem not quite so forgiving though for a practice day, and think it's a disgrace he would say 'no' and walk straight past the young lad.
We'll let you head over to Instagram and X / Twitter now to see what everyone makes of it all.
Speaking from experience, I'm sure we all have our own stories of when a Tour pro didn't stop and sign an autograph for us when we asked them for one back in the day. I know I do.

Cantlay finished a disappointing T36 at The Masters last week.
But a return to one of his favourite events of the season could ignite the spark Cantlay is looking for this week.
