Olympics Golf Final Round: LIVE leaderboard and updates from Le Golf National in Paris

Welcome to live golf scores, updates and commentary from the final round of the 2024 Men's Olympics Golf Tournament at Le Golf National.

Scottie Scheffler continued his remarkable year by claiming the gold medal in the Olympic men's golf competition in Paris.

Scheffler tore round Le Golf National on Sunday, carding a final round of 9-under 62 to reach 19-under par.

England's Tommy Fleetwood secured the silver medal, finishing on 18-under par.

Hideki Mastuyama took the bronze after he finished one stroke behind the Englishman.

Jon Rahm held a four-shot lead at the summit on the back nine but two bogeys and a double bogey from the Spaniard saw his challenge for the gold medal blow up in smoke.

Rahm finished in a tie for fifth on 15-under with Rory McIlroy.

Home favourite Victor Perez fired a sublime, out-of-nowhere 63 to finish in solo fourth on 16-under.

Nicolai Hojgaard, Tom Kim, Joaquin Niemann, Thomas Detry, Jason Day, Corey Conners and Xander Schauffele also finished inside the top-10.

Birdie for Scheffler

Scheffler -10 (14)

Scheffler moves level with McIlroy on 10-under par after a simple birdie on the par-5 14th.

The 14th is playing one of the easiest holes on the course alongside the par-5 3rd, so the leading groups should also take advantage of that one in the next 20 minutes.

Scheffler is three back of Rahm.

15:00
Rahm takes the lead

Rahm bins a 22-footer for birdie to move to 4-under par for the round and to 13-under par for the tournament.

Rahm had 20 feet for birdie on the 10th but could not convert the putt to take the outright lead.

He settles for par and remains in a tie for the lead with Fleetwood, who is heading down the 10th.

It's looking all the more likely we are heading for a very bunched board heading into Sunday.

14:11
Pars for final group on 9

Fleetwood -12, Schauffele -11, Matsuyama -9 (9)

It's somewhat disappointing pars for the final trio on the par-5 9th.

Hojgaard on a rampage

Hojgaard -11 (17)

Hojgaard is incredibly 9-under par thru 17 holes to move to 11-under par.
