Olympics Golf Final Round: LIVE leaderboard and updates from Le Golf National in Paris

Welcome to live golf scores, updates and commentary from the final round of the 2024 Men's Olympics Golf Tournament at Le Golf National.

Scottie Scheffler continued his remarkable year by claiming the gold medal in the Olympic men's golf competition in Paris.

Scheffler tore round Le Golf National on Sunday, carding a final round of 9-under 62 to reach 19-under par.

England's Tommy Fleetwood secured the silver medal, finishing on 18-under par.

Hideki Mastuyama took the bronze after he finished one stroke behind the Englishman.

Jon Rahm held a four-shot lead at the summit on the back nine but two bogeys and a double bogey from the Spaniard saw his challenge for the gold medal blow up in smoke.

Rahm finished in a tie for fifth on 15-under with Rory McIlroy.

Home favourite Victor Perez fired a sublime, out-of-nowhere 63 to finish in solo fourth on 16-under.

Nicolai Hojgaard, Tom Kim, Joaquin Niemann, Thomas Detry, Jason Day, Corey Conners and Xander Schauffele also finished inside the top-10.

It's a sixth birdie of the day for Day on the par-4 12th.

Day is now just one back.

13:40
Bogey for Rahm

Rahm -11 (8)

It's a sloppy three-putt from 40 feet from Rahm.

He lipped the first putt some five feet past the hole, and then missed the comeback.

It's a first bogey of the round for Rahm, and Fleetwood now moves back into a one-shot lead.

Incredibly, that is the third three-putt in a row on the par-3 8th for Rahm this week.

13:33
Another birdie for McIlroy

McIlroy -9 (11)

Here comes Rory!

It's a fourth birdie of the round for the man representing Team Ireland this week.

McIlroy sent a dart into three feet at the par-3 11th and then knocked in the putt.

He's now up to 9-under par and just three shots off the pace.

Right back in the mix.

13:30

Right in the mix.

13:19
Pars at 6 for final group

Fleetwood -12, Schauffele -11, Matsuyama -9 (6)

Pars all round for the final group, with Schauffele missing a good chance for birdie from 15 feet.

Fleetwood remains out in front by one shot over Schauffele and Rahm, who has just setup a golden chance for birdie on 7.

13:13
Double for An

An -8 (13)

It's a disastrous double at 13 for An, who had been 8-under for the round standing on the tee.

Still a brilliant round though.

13:08
Birdie for McIlroy

McIlroy -8 (9)

It's a third birdie of the round for McIlroy who now moves to within four of the lead.

McIlroy -7 (8), Scheffler -7 (6)

No big moves from PGA Tour superstars McIlroy and Scheffler just yet.

McIlroy is 2-under for the round thru eight holes, and Scheffler is just 1-under thru six.

Both steady but not spectacular so far.

13:01
Schauffele makes a great par

Schauffele -11 (5)

After hitting the lip of the bunker with his second shot, leaving him 90 yards into the hole, Schauffele plays a gorgeous wedge shot into a foot to save par.

It's a pars for Fleetwood and Matsuyama too.

Fleetwood remains out in front by one, while Matsuyama trails by three.

12:49
Fleetwood leads

Fleetwood -12, Schauffele -11, Matsuyama -9 (4)

Fleetwood holes a short birdie putt on the par-4 4th to move into the outright lead on 12-under par.

Pars at 3 for final group

Fleetwood -11, Schauffele, Matsuyama -10 (3)

Disappointing pars for the final group on the easy par-5 3rd.

Fleetwood and Matsuyama hit shocking drives but recovered for pars.

Schauffele will be most disappointed to make par having split the fairway.

Slow start for the final trio.

12:29
Another birdie for An

An -10 (11)

An is now 8-under par thru 11 holes and up to 10-under par for the tournament.

What a round from the South Korean.

12:23
Ben An flying

An -9 (10)

Ben An is having a day.

The South Korean is 7-under par thru 10 holes.

He's vaulted up to 9-under par and that's just two shots off the pace.

12:22
Detry eagle

Detry -9 (3)

Right back in it.

Rahm birdie

Rahm -10 (3)

It's a simple two-putt birdie from around 30 feet for Rahm on the easy par-5 3rd.

The Spaniard moves to 10-under par and just one back of Fleetwood.

12:13
Fleetwood leads

Fleetwood -11, Schauffele, Matsuyama -10 (2)

Matsuyama finds the water but goes on to hole a long putt for bogey.

Schauffele found the bunker and despite splashing out to three feet, he missed the par putt.

It's a safe par for Fleetwood though, and the Great British star holds a one-shot lead on 11-under par.

Par for Rahm, bogeys for Detry and Pan

Rahm -9, Detry, Pan -7

It's a two-putt par for Rahm on the tricky par-3 2nd, but it's bogeys for both Detry and Pan in the penultimate group of the day.

Rahm remains two back at 9-under par, while Detry and Pan slip back to 7-under par.

11:58
Birdie for Scheffler

Scheffler -7 (3)

The World No.1 is back to 7-under par after a birdie on the easy par-5 3rd.

That hole has played the easiest for some considerable margin all week.

Scheffler four back.
