How much Aaron Rai and others (including Matt Kuchar) earned at the Wyndham Championship
Aaron Rai captured his first PGA Tour title and scooped a first prize of $1.42m, while Matt Kuchar returns on Monday to try and pick up over $140k.
Aaron Rai scooped a cool $1.42m for landing his maiden PGA Tour title in dramatic circumstances at the Wyndham Championship.
Rai, 29, trailed runaway leader Max Greyserman by four shots with five holes to play.
But the American lost his entire four-shot advantage with a disastrous quadruple-bogey on the par-4 14th.
Greyserman then went one shot ahead when two-putting for birdie on the par-5 15th, but he would then fall one shot behind Rai when four-jabbing for a double-bogey five on the par-3 16th.
Rai clinched the win with a superb birdie from six feet on the tough par-4 18th to see out a two-shot victory.
The Englishman vaults up to 25th in the FedEx Cup standings heading into the start of the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
Rai scoops a first prize of $1.42m, while Greyserman took home $861,100 after securing his second straight solo second on the PGA Tour.
