Tiger Woods has shared images from a recent trip to Texas ahead of the grand opening from the latest creation from his golf course design company.

It was announced last October that Woods' TGR Design is building a second golf course in The Lone Star State as part of the Bluejack Ranch development.

The course is situated in Aledo, near Fort Worth.

It is the second collaboration between Woods and Bluejack National, following their project in Houston which opened in 2016.

As part of the joint venture, there are also plans for 600 new homes.

The 18-hole course will act as the centrepiece of a 914-acre community.

Woods, who will turn 49 later this month, is also collaborating on the project with former PGA Tour pro and 2006 Ryder Cup star JJ Henry.

The 15-time major champion previously penned a letter to the community when the plans were announced.

He wrote: "Bluejack National's success has paved the way for this next chapter at Bluejack Ranch.

"Our shared vision of creating a space where families can enjoy the game and have fun inspires us all once again at The Ranch.

"It's extremely motivating for me to contribute to the golfing legacy of Fort Worth, and I'm excited to see what we'll build together."

Little is known about the course design yet.

The property is also expected to include a floodlit 10-hole par three course, a spa and wellness area, as well as state-of-the-art practice facilities.

Construction is expected to be completed early in 2025, with the golf course opened in 2026.

Woods shared a montage of pictures from his recent trip on 18 December.

"Mighty fine design visit at @BluejackRanch this week," he wrote on X.

"Hats off to this exceptional Fort Worth development. Something special is on the horizon."
