The Match viewers can't believe how Rose Zhang wasn't wiped out by golf cart
Rory McIlroy, Rose Zhang, Max Homa and Lexi Thompson starred in the latest edition of The Match but perhaps this golf cart driver deserves plaudits.
Rory McIlroy came up clutch in the latest edition of The Match but perhaps the real star of the show was the driver of this golf buggy that managed to avoid a collision with Rose Zhang.
In case you're not aware what The Match is, it's a made-for-TV contest that now takes place annually.
It began in 2018 when Tiger Woods faced Phil Mickelson in Las Vegas.
Mickelson came out victorious in the inaugural edition of The Match and, since then, the charity event has seen a number of sports stars also take part.
McIlroy was up against Zhang, fellow PGA Tour star Max Homa and LPGA Tour star Lexi Thompson on Monday.
The Northern Irishman won the contest by winning 10 of the 12 skins available. A mind-boggling $2.4m was also raised for charity.
He came up clutch with this dart:

That was quite something from Rors.
Still, we are a bit baffled as to how the aforementioned Zhang wasn't completely flattened out by the camera crew.

I think TNT's commentary team has done a great job of letting the golfer's commentary have time while working around but the crew nearly ran into Rose with a cart pic.twitter.com/iVjvrftTVE

That was far too close for comfort, wasn't it?!
McIlroy will now turn his attentions to competing in the PGA Tour's Florida swing.
He is in the field for the forthcoming Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches at PGA National.
McIlroy won the event in 2012. Chris Kirk is the defending champion.
