Golf fans all say the same thing about new Donald Trump claim
Is Donald Trump good enough at golf to beat a Tour Pro? According to a former White House aide, he recently got the better of two of them.
Donald Trump is undoubtedly an accomplished golfer; it would be remarkable if he weren't considering the number of courses he owns.
Is the 77-year-old good enough to beat two touring pros, though? According to former White House aide and current Congressional candidate Brian Jack, the answer is yes.
Speaking at a rally in Rome, Georgia, Jack claimed that the former President shot a score of 70 to get the better of two professional golfers.
He said:
Jack failed to reveal the names of the players or the location of the match.
Stories of Trump's prowess on the course are nothing new, with the former President notoriously spending a healthy portion of his time in office out on the course.
He famously claimed to have won the Senior Club Championships in 2023 at Trump Bedminster, shooting a staggering 5-under 67.
If Trump's claims are to be believed, his score would have beaten 47 out of 48 of the final rounds carded by LIV golfers on the same course two weeks before his victory.
Trump owns 18 golf properties around the world, including Trump Turnberry and Trump International Doral, which will host a LIV Golf event in just under a month's time.
The former Apprentice host has teed it up with numerous Tour pros in his time, including Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson, and, most recently, Legion XIII's newest recruit, Caleb Surratt.
Following Jack's audacious claims, the internet reacted in typical form, suggesting that the Congressional candidate might have been bending the truth with his story.
Despite the tidal wave of scepticism, some X users had no issue believing the claims.
