Thomas Detry captured his first PGA Tour title in dominant fashion at the WM Phoenix Open.
Detry, 32, held a huge five-shot lead heading into the final round and there was no stopping him on Sunday at famed TPC Scottsdale.
Despite his lead being trimmed to three shots at the 5th and then again in the early stages of the back nine, Detry sealed the deal with three closing birdies to finish, including a stunning tee shot to one foot on the iconic Stadium Hole par-3 16th.

Detry closed with a superb round of 65 for an emphatic seven-shot victory on 24-under par.
He celebrated his maiden PGA Tour title at the WM Phoenix Open with his wife Sarah Detry and their two young daughters on the 18th green.
Detry also becomes the first Belgian to ever win on the PGA Tour and the third European to win the Phoenix Open following in the footsteps of Sandy Lyle and Jesper Parnevik.
The win vaults Detry to second in the FedEx Cup standings behind Sepp Straka.
"It's incredible, this is what dreams are made of and that walk on the last hole was just incredible," said Detry.
"My caddie told me to enjoy this moment. I've given myself so many chances in the past and never been able to conclude and to be able to put a statement out like that is pretty incredible and I'm just over the moon and so happy."
Michael Kim (67) and Daniel Berger (67) tied for second on 17-under par, one shot ahead of Christiaan Bezuidenhout (66) and a resurgent Jordan Spieth (68).

The victory not only marks Detry's first on the PGA Tour but also his first as a Tour pro on the main Tours.
Despite a number of close calls on the DP World Tour down the years, Detry remains winless on the former European Tour circuit.
Detry won the World Cup of Golf with Thomas Pieters in 2018 but that did not count as an official event.
Prior to that his sole win as a pro came at the 2016 Bridgestone Challenge on the Challenge Tour.
Detry earned his PGA Tour card for the 2023 season via the DP World Tour Rankings.
He was heavily linked with a move to LIV Golf at the end of 2024 but he turned down the opportunity in order to keep his PGA Tour dream alive.
Detry will now assume the best Official World Golf Ranking position of his career when the rankings are updated on Monday morning.
He is currently 58th and his best ranking position of all time is 48th.

Justin Thomas hit the shot of the final round when holing out his second shot for eagle from 102 yards at the par-4 18th.
Thomas played the last six holes in 5-under par to finish on 15-under par and just outside the top five.
World No.1 Scottie Scheffler threatened to haul himself into contention for a first PGA Tour title of the season and a third WM Phoenix Open title, but despite moving to within four shots of the lead on the front nine his charge was halted with consecutive bogeys on 12 and 13.
Scheffler then bogeyed 16 and double-bogeyed 18 to slump to a 1-over 72 and 9-under par total to finish outside the top 20.
Elsewhere, Tom Kim had a weekend to forget, especially after receiving pelters from Matt Fitzpatrick's caddie Billy Foster during the third round coverage on Sky Sports Golf.
Foster took dead aim at Kim's slow pace of play on the PGA Tour.
He said he once "fell asleep on my head covers" while waiting for Kim to play a shot.
Kim closed with rounds of 72 and 73 to tumble out of contention on 6-under par and outside the top 40.
