Detry and his wife are contemplating a more permanent base in the U.S., exploring locations such as Scottsdale, Florida, and the Caribbean. 

Thomas has always emphasized the importance of finding a place that balances convenience for his career and comfort for his family.

Detry was linked with a move to LIV Golf during the off-season but he turned down an offer to join the Saudi-bankrolled league.
