PGA Tour caddie bashes Tom Kim during Phoenix Open: "I fell asleep on my head covers..."
Matt Fitzpatrick's caddie Billy Foster slams PGA Tour star Tom Kim during Sky Sports Golf guest appearance in R3 of the WM Phoenix Open.
PGA Tour caddie Billy Foster slammed Tom Kim over his lethargic pace of play during the third round of the WM Phoenix Open.
Foster, who caddies for Matt Fitzpatrick, made his feelings be known about Kim while appearing as a guest speaker on Sky Sports.
The legendary English caddie was calling the action at the Phoenix Open alongside lead Sky Sports Golf host Robert Lee.
Foster, who has also caddied for the likes of Seve Ballesteros and Lee Westwood down the years, recently confirmed he will be stepping back slightly from his caddying duties and only working part-time for Fitzpatrick this season.
He explained he will be caddying for Fitzpatrick at around 13-14 tournaments in 2025.
Daniel Parratt is taking Fitzpatrick's bag for the rest of the season, just as he has done at TPC Scottsdale this week.
But back to the top of the story and Foster had some stern words for Tom Kim, who is renowned as being one of the slower players on the PGA Tour.
Kim was roasted on social media during the final round of last week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am when he was seen taking an age over one of his shots only for him to end up finding the out of bounds.
As the camera panned to Kim's approach shot into the par-4 1st during the third round of the WM Phoenix Open, Sky Sports Golf's Lee asked Foster for his take on Kim.
Let's just say Foster did not hold back!

"Yeah, I've fallen asleep on my head covers leaning on the bag waiting for him to hit a shot now and again yeah," said Foster.
"He's as slow as it comes, get on with it will you."
Lee said: "Purposeful would you say?"
Foster replied: "No, just slow, get on with it."
When Kim then went on to duff his second shot from the rough on the par-5 3rd, Foster quipped: "Ooooh Tom, see if he played it quickly he would have been alright."
