England's Charley Hull has it all to do if she is to claim her maiden major championship at the AIG Women's Open

Hull will begin the final round at St Andrews' Old Course five shots adrift of the lead after going backwards on Saturday.

After 54 holes, two-time winner Jiyai Shin has the lead after storming to the front with a 4-under 67.

Shin has won two major championships in her career and they both came in this event in 2008 and 2012.

She will begin the final round on 7-under, one clear of the defending champion Lilia Vu.

World number one Nelly Korda is also in contention two strokes adrift.

Olympic champion Lydia Ko is also inside the top-5 with a chance of glory.

Korda told reporters: "I think Sunday is going to be a tough day. I think the winds are going to be high. There could be rain as well.

"I'm going to keep a positive attitude and take it one shot at a time.

As for Hull, she was the runner-up in the AIG Women's Open and the Women's U.S. Open last year.

The 28-year-old Kettering native signed for a third round of 75.

She started the third round brightly, but a double bogey at the 5th alongside more dropped shots on the 11th, 16th and 17th saw her slide down the leaderboard.
