Tommy Fleetwood (?!) spotted at LIV Golf Las Vegas trying to keep low-profile
England's Tommy Fleetwood was on site at LIV Golf Las Vegas to support his European Ryder Cup teammates Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton.
England's Tommy Fleetwood was spotted on site during the first round of LIV Golf Las Vegas.
The English golfer was snapped trying to keep a low-profile by strutting about the property with his hood up.
Unsurprisingly the picture of Fleetwood - that was shared by @flushingit on X - sparked conjecture he was lining up a move to the breakaway tour.
Such a prospect seems unlikely now given LIV have a full roster of 13 teams and 52 players.
Fleetwood has been linked with a switch to the Saudi Arabia-backed tour since its inception but that is hardly surprising.
Only a few weeks ago the European Ryder Cup star confirmed he had been approached by LIV once again.
"I'll always be doing what I think is best for my golf game and at the moment that is what I am doing," he said at the Dubai Desert Classic.
"People have been getting approached for a long time now so I don't think it's flash news people are still being approached by LIV.
"Some people will go and some people won't"
One person that ultimately decided to join LIV was Fleetwood's Ryder Cup teammate Tyrrell Hatton.
Hatton made a last-minute switch to LIV for a reported $60m and is now a member of Jon Rahm's Legion XIII.
World No. 16 Hatton opened up on his decision to join LIV this week and he told Telegraph Sport he won't rely on his reputation to ensure he will be selected for next year's Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.
"Jon's in a different position to me - you can't really imagine the European Ryder Cup team without Jon," Hatton told the paper.
"It's nice to hear your team mates say nice things about you and your contribution but when you talk about the Ryder Cup 'certainties' or whatever, I don't feel that I’m up there in that bracket with those guys.
"I'm sorry, I'm just not and can't rely on my reputation."
