'Sorry for ruining your day...' Tour pro snaps back at fan after signing LIV Golf deal
LIV Golf pro Danny Lee responds to a critical fan who mocked him re-signing for Kevin Na's Iron Heads GC in 2025.
LIV Golf pro Danny Lee has responded to a golf fan who mocked his announcement as the latest player to re-sign for Kevin Na's Iron Heads GC.
Lee, 34, was announced by the Iron Heads as one of three signings earlier this week as captain Na completed his four-man team for 2025.
Two players re-signed in New Zealand's Lee and Japan's Jinichiro Kozuma.
Rising South Korean star Yubin Jang was then confirmed as a new member on Na's roster.
Lee won his first title on the Saudi-bankrolled circuit in Tucson in 2023.
But he endured a rough 2024 season finishing 38th in the individual standings on LIV Golf.
And one particular fan seemingly did not want to let Lee forget about it.

Lee only notched two top-10 finishes all year.
Those came at LIV Golf Adelaide (T9) in April and LIV Golf Andalucia (T6) in July.
After Iron Heads GC announced Lee had put pen to paper on a new deal for 2025, one fan commented: "Who?"
Lee replied: "Sorry for ruining your day I hope I can change this."
The fan responded: "Nah you're good."
Lee will now be taking part in his third season on LIV Golf and Japan's Kozuma will be taking part in his second season.
The New Zealander first joined LIV Golf in 2023 following a relatively successful career on the PGA Tour.
Lee won his first and only PGA Tour title in a playoff at the Greenbrier Classic in 2015.
He earned another playoff victory on LIV Golf in Tucson in 2023, but he has so far failed to build on that.
Lee will be eager to prove captain Na he was right to invite him back for another season.
Kozuma will be another player looking to repay the faith of Na in 2025.
The Japanese came perilously close to relegation on LIV Golf in his debut season after finishing 45th on the standings.
He earned his card onto LIV Golf as a result of coming through the LIV Promotions event at the end of 2023.
But despite both Lee and Kozuma's contracts coming to an end with Iron Heads GC, team captain Na decided to re-sign both players for 2025.
No doubt their performances in the season-ending Team Championship had something to do with that.
Despite Iron Heads GC's rough regular season in 2024, the team performed admirably in the final team event in Dallas.
Na's side finished T2 and three shots behind Cameron Smith's Ripper GC.
Following the relegation of their fourth member Scott Vincent at the end of the season, Na has dediced to ring change by snapping up the services of Korea's Jang.
Jang, 22, won the Korean Tour's money list and Player of the Year in 2024 following two tournament wins and five runner-ups.
Na, 41, is particularly bullish about the arrival of Jang, who is being tipped to become one of the best South Korean golfers very soon.
"Yubin is a promising young talent from Korea and we couldn't be more excited to have him join the Iron Heads GC," said Korean American Na.
"I've been following his career for years, and I'm confident he'll become a world class golfer.
"With an event in Korea this year, Yubin's addition is a major boost for our team.
"This club needed young talent like his to push our veterans, and Yubin's presence shows young Korean golfers a clear path to competing globally against the best.
"It's an incredibly exciting time for Korean golf."
