LIV Golf's biggest hitter for the 2023 season is not who you might think
LIV Golf's biggest hitters for the 2023 season have been revealed and two players have averaged greater distances off the tee than Bryson DeChambeau.
LIV Golf's roster boasts some of the biggest hitters in men's professional golf.
When you think of LIV Golf bombers, your mind might be immediately drawn to Bryson DeChambeau.
That's given his excursions with long drive and the fact he spent the better part of two years beefing himself up to hit the ball farther on the PGA Tour.
DeChambeau accomplished that feat and then some, leading the PGA Tour in driving distance in the 2020-2021 season before he made the leap to LIV.
The American averaged a mind-boggling 323.7 yards off the tee. His most memorable drive, of course, came when he smashed one 377 yards over the lake on Bay Hill's sixth hole.
Remind yourself of that moment here:

Things have changed now and DeChambeau has slimmed down considerably. That being said, across the second LIV campaign he still averaged 316.8 yards off the tee.
Ever since becoming an equipment free agent he's tinkered with the chief, but recently he has been using a 6-degree Krank Formula Fire LD.
But there are two players that have hit the ball consistently farther than DeChambeau.
And that would be the South African Stinger Dean Burmester, who averaged 318.2 yards after 39 rounds.
Topping the driving distance statistics is Peter Uihlein, who is part of Dustin Johnson's 4Aces.
Uihlien, across 39 rounds, has averaged a whopping 322.5 yards off the tee.
Rory McIlroy leads the PGA Tour in the same department, averaging 326.3 yards.
