Who is Cameron Smith's wife? Meet Shanel Naoum
LIV Golf star Cameron Smith married wife Shanel Naoum on Tiger Woods' birthday.
LIV Golf star Cameron Smith married Shanel Naoum on 30 December 2023 at the Cathedral of St Stephen in Brisbane.
Smith, 30, was first spotted in the public eye with his girlfriend Shanel after he won the 2022 Players Championship.
That was just several months before Smith went on to win his maiden major title at the 150th Open at the Home of Golf, St Andrews.
Smith then made a shock move from the PGA Tour to join LIV Golf shortly after that win.
He recently confirmed that leaving the PGA Tour to join LIV Golf was 'the best decision of my life'.
One that has also made him 'a much happier person'.
Smith reportedly signed to LIV for a fee in the region of $100m.
In his first three seasons on the Saudi-bankrolled circuit, he amassed $40m in on-course earnings, $15m more than he made in nine years on the PGA Tour.
Who is Cameron Smith's wife Shanel Naoum?
Smith and Naoum's relationship has been very much kept out the spotlight, and news only emerged they were engaged shortly before their wedding.
But it would seem Smith and Naoum wasted little time in tying the knot as the wedding took place on Tiger Woods' 48th birthday on 30 December 2023.
According to reports, Smith's wife Shanel Naoum works as a chiropractor in Florida.
Smith and his wife reside nearby to TPC Sawgrass in Jacksonsville, which was the scene of Smith's Players Championship victory in 2022.
In a photo that was shared on social media by the Australian's LIV Golf team Ripper GC, Smith was seen dressed in a black tuxedo with his customary mullet.
Shanel was wearing a froufrou gown.
