LIV Golf will only offer one space onto the breakaway tour in 2025 at their Promotions event, according to a report.

Per bunkered's Michael McEwan, the Saudi-backed league are set to unveil details of their Q-School event that will be staged in Riyadh in December.

LIV Golf Promotions offered three golden tickets in 2023 and they went to Kalle Samooja, Kieran Vincent and Jinichiro Kozuma.

Two of those players - Samooja and Vincent - ended up getting relegated and will have to ply their trade elsewhere.

Samooja, who was part of Martin Kaymer's Cleeks outfit, finished 49th overall and was one of six players that finished in the relegation zone.

Vincent finished above only Hudson Swafford, Anthony Kim and Ben Campbell in the standings.

Swafford has since been given the boot and is unable to return to the PGA Tour anytime soon.

Two-time Masters champ Bubba Watson also finished in the bottom six but is exempt from relegation because he is a team captain.

Watson has already confirmed his next move

Only one golfer will earn their spot on LIV next year though, it is claimed

LIV are also exploring the idea of adding a 14th team.

Jon Rahm was allowed to create his own team, Legion XIII, after he signed with LIV in December 2023.

LIV Golf commissioner Greg Norman said: "Those who have competed in the LIV Golf League consistently share similar feedback: the energy, camaraderie, and global competition have created a once-in-a-lifetime experience for players to pursue their dreams at the highest level.

"LIV Golf Promotions delivers another pathway for up-and-coming players and top competitors across the globe to experience a life-changing season with LIV, and we’re eager to see who steps up this year in Riyadh."
