Joaquin Niemann wife: Who is the LIV Golf player married to? Meet Christina Hellema Puga

Chilean professional golfer Joaquin Niemann is married to Christina Hellema Puga.

The in-form LIV Golf star is understood to have met his soul mate in 2017.

They said 'I do' in an intimate ceremony in Chile six years later. 

Not much is known about their wedding day, but it was reportedly held in La Serena in front of family and friends.

Christina did share a photograph on Instagram when Joaco proposed and tagged it: "Yes and always yes!"

It's not clear if Christina - who goes by Titi - currently has a full-time profession.

The Sun have reported that she has worked as a model and also for luxury clothing brand Roxy. 

She has a background in architecture and, judging by her social media profiles, a keen interest in photography.

Who is Christina Hellema Puga?

Christina Hellema Puga was born in Chile on 18 October 1997.

She has three siblings: two sisters called Johanne and Antonia and a brother called Tay.

Christina graduated with a bachelor's degree in architecture from the Universidad del Desarrollo in Concepción. 

She can be found on Instagram under the handle @titihellema where she frequently shares images of her life with Joaquin.

She is regularly spotted watching Joaquin compete in professional events around the globe. 

Christina caddied for Joaco during the annual Masters Par-3 Contest and also sprinted onto the green at Riviera Country Club when he landed his first PGA Tour title in 2022. 

Joaquin was one of the first players to be recruited for LIV Golf and he has already established himself as one of the stronger players in the PIF-backed league having won four times. 

He is the team captain of Torque GC, which also comprises of Mito Pereira, Sebastian Munoz and Carlos Ortiz.
