Anthony Kim suggests he took drugs in 'porta potties' during majors
Former PGA Tour and Ryder Cup star Anthony Kim has offered shocking details about his addiction as he celebrated two years of sobriety.

Former PGA Tour star Anthony Kim has suggested he took drugs during major championships.
Swashbuckling Kim was touted as Tiger Woods' heir when he made his professional debut in 2006.
He picked up three PGA Tour titles and played a starring role at the 2008 Ryder Cup - which included a shellacking of European legend Sergio Garcia in the Sunday singles - before an Achilles injury forced him to step away from the sport in 2012.
He resurfaced in 2024 and signed a two-year contract with LIV Golf after more than a decade of intense speculation as to his whereabouts.
Kim decided not to go into all the details upon his return - choosing to save them for a forthcoming documentary about his life - but it was clear that he fell into an addictive cycle of almost deadly behaviour and surrounded himself with all the wrong people.

The golfer celebrated two years of sobriety on 20 February and posted a 213-word statement on Instagram.
Such was the throes of his addiction and depression, he contemplated taking his life 'everyday' for more than two decades.
Kim's post stated that during his rehabilitation he was barely able to walk unassisted as his 'body was shutting down'.
He shared pictures of the pills he had to consume twice a day to safely withdraw from the substances he was abusing.
"Not long before this moment I contemplated ending my life everyday for almost two decades," he wrote.
He added: "Every day I chose drugs and alcohol to numb the pain no matter what happened in my professional life and I got so good at hiding who I was.
"It's f---ing hard playing majors making porta potty stops every few holes."
Kim wrote that he decided to share his story now so that those who are struggling can turn their lives around.
The golfer has since married Emily and they have a daughter named Bella.

On the golf course, Kim has struggled to find form since joining LIV.
He played the 2024 season as a wildcard and ultimately finished in the relegation zone.
Kim was exempt from being booted out of the league because of his contract. He is one of two wildcards this year.
He has worked hard to improve and, on the eve of the curtain-raiser in Riyadh, revealed he did not bother getting fitted for clubs last year.
"There was no point," Kim previously told LIV Golf's official website.
"People ask me why I didn't get fitted sooner, but when you're not hitting the ball in the middle of the face consistently, it really doesn't matter what you're using."

He's now decided to game the new Callaway Elyte driver and 3-wood, Titleist T200 irons, a set of Vokey SM10 wedges and a Cameron Timeless putter.
Going forward, Kim wants to contend again and potentially play in a few majors.
"I actually feel like my best golf is ahead of me, including from when I played on the PGA Tour," he said.
"I'm swinging it as good as I ever have. I'm thinking very clearly. Now I just got to put it all together."
