England's Tyrrell Hatton admitted he has never tried harder to hole at putt after he equalled the Old Course record at St Andrews on the third day of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
Hatton, 32, tore round the home of golf on Saturday to forge a one-shot lead heading into the final round of the popular DP World Tour event.
He hit nine birdies and one eagle on his way to a blistering 11-under 61.

The LIV Golf man is atop the leaderboard on 22-under par, one clear of Belgium's Nicolas Colsaerts.
Colsaerts carded a third round of 7-under 65 at Kingsbarns, a highlight of which came when he recorded a rare albatross at the 16th hole.
The former Ryder Cupper gave the most understated reaction after his golf ball rolled back at perfect pace into the centre of the cup.
"I mean, I was just kind of taking each hole as it came [and] trying to make as many birdies as I could," a shocked and delighted Hatton told Sky Sports after he also equalled his lowest round ever on any tour.
He said he was aware that he shot 10-under before at the Old Course as he stood over a nine foot putt for birdie at the iconic 18th.
Hatton also made easy work of the Road Hole, stuffing his approach from 176 yards to inside four feet for the easiest of birdies.
"It was a cool day," he added.
Hatton is playing the event alongside his father Jeff.
The golfer said his dad will likely be 'a bit scared' about being in the final group.
"It'll be fun and I'm excited," he said. "I know I'm capable of winning around here."
Hatton is one of 13 LIV Golf players in the field this week.
He would make it a hat-trick of wins at the Dunhill if he is successful on Sunday.
Elsewhere, England's Tommy Fleetwood and Jon Rahm are also inside the top-10 but would need something remarkable in round four to claim the title.
Rory McIlroy is further down the leaderboard.
