Billy Horschel gives verdict after flying with easyJet for first time to France
illy Horschel gives his take on flying with easyJet for the first time in his life ahead of competing in the Open de France.
Billy Horschel admits his first ever experience with easyJet was not so bad after all, despite a flurry of comments he received on X / Twitter about it being a bad decision.
Horschel, 37, took a direct flight with easyJet from Scotland to France ahead of this week's Open de France at famed Le Golf National on the DP World Tour.
The American, who won the coveted BMW PGA at Wentworth for the second time in four years last month, missed the cut by one shot at the Dunhill Links at St Andrews last week.

Horschel took to X / Twitter on Sunday to reveal he was getting set for takeoff on his first ever easyJet flight.
The experience, other than a minor delay, was seamless for Horschel.
And even his golf clubs and luggage passed the test with flying colours.
'Heard great things about this airline,' tweeted avid West Ham fan Horschel, no doubt punching the letters into his keypad tongue in cheek.
'Decide to check it out first hand! [smile emoji] Onward to Paris.'
After seeing Horschel's post, popular golf social media account Flushing It tweeted: 'Please, whatever you do, do not check your golf clubs onto this flight!'
Bunkered deputy editor Michael McEwan then tweeted Horschel: 'It's a competitive field, sure. But this might be the worst decision a professional golfer has ever made.'
One fan commented: 'That’s hilarious Billy! Enjoy their 1st class section and great food!'
Horschel replied: 'Not many direct flight options to Paris. Thankfully we made it and all made bags did as well.'
The two-time BMW PGA champion then confirmed to his 220k followers: 'Update! Safely made it to Paris. A touch delayed but everything else went great. And all 3 bags made it including the golf clubs.'
Horschel lines up as a 12/1 favourite ahead of the 2024 Open de France, where there is a prize purse of $3.25m.
The winner will receive $552,500.
More than enough to cover Horschel's easyJet flight and his return trip home to Florida this weekend.
