Zach Johnson's Ryder Cup team put on full blast over Solheim Cup video message
A number of golf fans appeared unhappy with the lack of effort from Zach Johnson's Ryder Cup players wishing Team USA all the best at the Solheim Cup.
Zach Johnson's Ryder Cup side sent their best wishes to Team USA ahead of the Solheim Cup.
But some golf fans argued the messages sent by 10 members of the team were a bit 'cringeworthy'.
In the 49-second clip, Sam Burns, Justin Thomas, Max Homa, Wyndham Clark, Brian Harman, Scottie Scheffler, Collin Morikawa, Brooks Koepka, Rickie Fowler and Johnson offer their support for Stacy Lewis' side.
Jordan Spieth wasn't in the video and his absence can be excused because he and his wife Annie welcomed a baby girl to their family a few weeks ago.
Patrick Cantlay wasn't in the clip, prompting speculation as to his whereabouts.
"Love these guys but that was a bit cringe," one fan wrote.
"That video could not have been any more insincere," another added.
One twisted the knife: "Can you make it any more obvious how rushed and forced this was? Looks like a hostage video."
