The Ryder Cup paid tribute to late great Seve Ballesteros with a flag in the grandstand on the 1st tee during the Saturday Morning Foursomes.
The flag was lowered from the top of the grandstand and down to the bottom, as it revealed an image of Ballesteros with the words 'Per Sempre Nei Nostri Cuori'.
This means 'Always In Our Hearts'.
The flag was presented as Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetood strode down the 1st fairway in their match against Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth.
Seve's son Javier Ballesteros and former teammate Jose Maria Olazabal were standing down on the 1st tee as the flag was lowered.
European captain Luke Donald joined them before having a photograph with both Spaniards.
Ballesteros' Ryder Cup record was impressive with a 60.81% winning record.
The five-time major champion won 22.5 points from a possible 37.
Ballesteros struck up an incredible partnership with Olazabal in the biennial contest.
