Ryder Cup account TROLLS LIV Golf's Ian Poulter with Twitter post
The Team Europe Ryder Cup Twitter account has trolled LIV Golf's Ian Poulter in a post on Saturday.
The Team Europe Ryder Cup Twitter account has seemingly reignited its feud with LIV Golf's Ian Poulter over birthday shout-outs on Saturday.
Earlier this year, Poulter took issue with the Ryder Cup account over his birthday.
Poulter, who was born on 10 January, was unhappy with the Ryder Cup Europe account after it didn't wish either he or fellow LIV Golf player Sergio Garcia a 'happy birthday.'

Instead, the account chose to tweet out a video of Francesco Molinari on 10 January, with caught Poulter's attention. The long-time Ryder Cup member replied to the account's tweet expressing his disappointment.
He replied:
What’s really an “incredible touch” is the Players that helped build the @RyderCupEurope Brand with other players as well. You just can’t bring yourself to say a simple Happy Birthday. @TheSergioGarcia B’day Yesterday. Unfortunately this says so much.

And now, it appears as though the European Ryder Cup account has brought back the infamous golf Twitter exchange with a new birthday-related tweet on Saturday.
The account wished a happy birthday to Niclas Fasth, a Swedish golfer who played on the European Ryder Cup Team in 2002.

In comparison, Poulter has played in seven Ryder Cups between 2004 and 2021.
Since joining LIV Golf, however, his eligibility for this fall's tournament is in jeopardy.
