Galvin Green reveals base-layer range
New 'underwear' with colour choice for weatherwear
Galvin Green, the Swedish-based weatherwear brand, claims it has taken performance and comfort to a new level with its latest Skintight base layer range.
It says the multi-layer Compression 10 'body mapping' technology in its Edge vest and Elmo leggings enhance circulation and stimulate oxygen to the muscles, maintaining temperature, while reducing compression applied to areas of the body that demand extra flexibility in the golf swing.
For example, the upper back muscles used in the golf swing are kept warm by increased compression material, while flex-points like the armpits feature a mesh fabric for extra movement and ventilation. The Edge and Elmo retail at £69 each and are available in black/dark grey in sizes XS-3XL.
The new collection also new colours like Pinot Noir/black/white in its Ayers (£319) and Astor (£289) Gore-TEX Shell full zip jackets, as well as the Ardell half zip top (£249).
In dry, windy conditions, the Bay full-zip, Baxley half-zip and high-neck Bates jackets have new white and black options. A new range for women includes the Alexia waterproof jacket with Stretch fabric inserts, Brooklyn full zip jacket (£199) and the Bibbi body warmer (£189).
