Adidas CodeChaos Primeknit BOA Golf Shoes Review
The Adidas CodeChaos Primeknit BOA golf shoes won't be to everybody's taste, but the high-tops are certainly comfortable and eye-catching.
Adidas Golf is doing everything it can to shake up the golf footwear market in 2020, and the brand's latest high-top, the Adidas CodeChaos Primeknit BOA golf shoes, do exactly that.

Let's get one thing straight. This high-top model won't suit every golfer out there, but if you like this type of design - like we do - then this one should sit right at the top of your list. Marmite comes to mind.
Adidas' new CodeChaos lineup comes in traditional style golf shoes too, so make sure you check out the full range to find a style that is right for your game.
But when it comes to this CodeChaos BOA high-top shoe, available for £149.95, we could not be more impressed following three rounds of golf so far this season.
The shoe offers a clean look, it's pleasingly waterproof and it features a hydrophobic stretch-knit collar and light slip-on construction to ensure you're not wrestling with the shoe from the word go.
Another impressive feature is its L6 BOA Fit System that gives you that locked-in feel on every swing. To operate, you simply pull the dial outwards to unfasten, and away you go.
Other features of note include an INSITE sockliner and Fitfoam cushioning, and then you've got the brand's classic BOOST midsole with a Torsion X stability bar that is as good as it gets for on-course comfort.
Underneath you've got a Twist Grip soft rubber hybrid spikeless outside with Traxion for superb levels of traction and grip on every swing.
The product is available in core black / signal green / cloud white.
Should you buy the Adidas CodeChaos Primeknit BOA golf shoes?
This shoe will of course raise eyebrows, but if you like a high-top design, fashion-forward thinking, a locked-in feel, loads of comfort and a superb fit, then we recommend you take a close look at this one.
Perhaps slightly difficult to find an outfit that matches the colour of these shoes, other than opting to pick a neutral black or white shirt and trousers. A red or blue shirt with these, for example, would look a little out of place.
Yes, it will split opinion. You'll likely either love this style, or think it's hideous. Like most shoe designs, that is all down to personal preference.
Yet from a performance point of view, you receive everything you could possibly wish for in terms of lightweight feel, comfort, fit, stability and traction.
