Who is Tiger Woods' girlfriend in 2025? All about Vanessa Trump

Tiger Woods has sensationally revealed he is in a romantic relationship with the former daughter-in-law of American president Donald Trump. 

The golfer, now 49, confirmed on 23 March 2025 he was seeing Vanessa Trump, 47, by making a rare public announcement on his social media profiles. 

It's unclear what prompted Tiger to do so or how long they had been an item. 

But US tabloids had speculated for weeks that they were seeing each other. 

Tiger went public with the relationship by posting two photographs of himself and Vanessa. 

The couple beamed from ear-to-ear in one whilst in the second they were relaxing in a hammock. 

Tiger captioned the post:

"Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together."

"At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts."

Tiger was previously in a relationship with Erica Herman. 

Erica was the former manager of his Florida restaurant, The Woods Jupiter, and they were together for six years. 

Their split was acrimonious, to say the least. 

Who is Vanessa Trump?

Vanessa was married to Donald Trump Jr. for 13 years and they have five children together. 

They divorced in 2018. 

She was a model during the 1990s and was signed to talent agency Wilhelmina. 

Vanessa also has an acting credit. She appeared in one scene of the 2003 romantic comedy Something's Gotta Give. 

As a teenager, she is reported to have dated a 'violent street gangster' named Valentin Rivera. 

In 1998, she was also romantically linked with actor Leonardo DiCaprio. 

Vanessa also had a three-year relationship with Saudi prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan al Saud. 

Their relationship ended in 2001 after his father left the U.S following suspicions he had indirect ties with the 9/11 hijackers. 

Vanessa married Donald Trump Jr in 2005. Their wedding was held at Mar-a-Lago club in Florida. 

They had five children together. They divorced in 2018. 

How did they meet Tiger Woods meet Vanessa Trump?

It's more than likely Tiger met Vanessa through her eldest daughter Kai Trump. 

Kai, 17, goes to the same school in Florida as Tiger's children Samantha, 17, and 16-year-old Charlie. 

Donald Trump's eldest grandchild is an aspiring golfer and has already committed to the University of Miami's women's team. 

Kai has signed with TaylorMade and has already competed in several junior golf tournaments alongside Charlie. 

US gossip magazines speculated Vanessa and Tiger started dating in November 2024. 

Previous relationship with Erica Herman

Before Vanessa there was Erica Herman. 

Tiger and Erica made their first appearance as a couple in September 2017 during the Presidents Cup. 

Erica was pictured wearing a 'players spouse' credential which is of course reserved for the significant others of players and captains. 

Exactly one month later the couple made the official announcement they were boyfriend and girlfriend as Tiger shared an image of the couple at a Dodgers game alongside his then caddie Joe LaCava. 

Since that appearance, Erica was constantly spotted by Tiger's side.

Erica was dressed in Tiger's trademark red and black at the 2019 Masters when the big cat triumphed at Augusta National, winning his 15th major championship and fifth green jacket. 

She was also by Tiger's side when he was tearfully inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2022 by his daughter Samantha Woods. 

Herman was said to have been a huge catalyst behind Tiger's most recent comeback after his near fatal car crash in February of 2022. 

She is said to have struck a strong relationship with the aforementioned Samantha and Tiger's son Charlie Woods. 

Erica was reported to have moved into the Woods' Jupiter home in 2019. 

Tiger, 47, previously spoke of how there was a 50 per cent chance his leg would need to be amputated after he crashed his luxury Genesis SUV in the Los Angeles hills. 

Once it was confirmed that Tiger would leave the hospital with his leg just about intact, he said that began working on whether he could still "use my hands". 

Tiger said Erica and his friend Rob McNamara would throw tennis balls for him to catch for hours on end as he was laid up. 

How did they meet? 

Tiger met Erica when she was an undergrad at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. 

She was studying political science and wanted to become a lawyer. 

Erica is from New Jersey. Her age is not known but she is thought to be at least a decade younger than Tiger. The New York post have reported that in 2023 she was 38 years old. 

She also worked as a general manager at the Woods' restaurant, The Woods Jupiter in Florida, for several months in 2017. 

Erica was also pictured with Tiger when he admitted reckless driving after being found asleep behind the wheel of his Mercedes in 2017. 

Who else has Tiger dated?

Tiger's relationship with Erica was not the first after he got divorced from Elin Nordegren.

In 2013, Tiger dated Olympic champion in Lindsey Vonn for three years in what was his first "public" relationship since the split. 

Dozens of other women have claimed to have had relationships with Tiger after he was exposed as a serial cheater and sought treatment for sex addiction. 

Rachel Uchitel was at the heart of Tiger's cheating scandal in 2009. In the 2021 HBO documentary 'Tiger', she spoke about the affair. 

Tiger is also said to have trysts Jamie Jungers, Cori Rist, Jaimee Grubbs and Kristin Smith before dating Herman. 

Erica Herman took Tiger Woods to court

In March 2023 it was reported that Erica Herman filed a lawsuit against the golf legend asking to be removed from the non-disclosure agreement she signed. 

TMZ reported that she cited a law that allows NDAs to be voided if there was proof of sexual assault or harassment. 

It was not immediately clear if she was accusing Tiger of wrongdoing. 

Erica signed the NDA in August 2017 when she first started dating Tiger, according to court documents. 

She claimed the NDA could not be enforced because of the Speak Out Act, which was put in place to protect sex assault and harassment victims. 

In a court filing, her attorney wrote: 

"Because of the aggressive use of the Woods NDA against her by the Defendant and the trust under his control, the Plaintiff is unsure whether she may disclose, among other things, facts giving rise to various legal claims she believes she has.  

 

"She is also currently unsure what other information about her life she may discuss or with whom. There is therefore an active dispute between the Plaintiff and the Defendant for which the Plaintiff needs a clarifying declaration from the Court."

Erica sued Tiger Woods for $30m 

It also emerged that separate to this legal action, Erica sued Tiger in October 2022. 

Erica filed a complaint against the trust that Woods controls - the Jupiter Irrevocable Homestead Trust - stating that the entity was in violation of the Florida Residential Landlord Tenant Act. 

She asked for more than £30m in damages. 

The complaint stated that she was tricked by 'agents of the Defendant' to pack a suitcase for a short vacation and when she arrived at the airport she was locked out of the residence. 

Furthermore, the court filings stated: 

"Even worse, Defendant's agents removed Plaintiffs personal belongings from her Residence and misappropriated in excess of $40,000 in cash that belonged to her, making scurrilous and defamatory allegations about how she obtained the money."
