Sergio Garcia makes HOLE-IN-ONE in playoff against Lee Westwood to advance
Garcia aces the fourth extra hole to defeat Westwood and book his place in the knockout stages of the WGC Match Play
Sergio Garcia made an incredible hole-in-one on the par-3 4th hole to defeat Lee Westwood in extra holes and book his place in the knockout stages of the WGC Match Play.
Garcia and Westwood came through Group 8 with 2 points each and so they competed in a sudden-death playoff to advance into the next round.
After both making pars at the first three holes at Austin Country Club, it was the Spaniard that produced a moment of magic to end the match with one blow from 160 yards.

Garcia will now face Mackenzie Hughes in the next round on Saturday.
Elsewhere, there were a number of shock departures from the tournament with Bryson DeChambeau, Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson all being eliminated from the group stages.
Tommy Fleetwood defeated DeChambeau 1up to come through the group, and the Englishman will now face Dylan Frittelli in the next round.
McIlroy was sent packing from the tournament after tying his match with Cameron Smith, as match-play specialist Ian Poulter, who thrashed McIlroy 6&5 on Wednesday, won the group.
World No.1 Johnson was dumped out of the tournament when Kevin Na birdied the final hole to win 1up, and Scotland's Robert MacIntyre then took full advantage by winning the 18th hole to tie his match with Adam Long and book his place in the next round.
Incredibly, MacIntyre's tee shot down the par-4 18th went 371 yards to two feet for eagle, yet Golf Channel decided not to show the shot.
