PGA Tour: How much did each player win at the AT&T Byron Nelson?
K. H. Lee became the fourth player in PGA Tour history to defend his title at the AT&T Byron Nelson, finishing one shot ahead of Jordan Spieth.
K. H. Lee became the first player to successfully defend his title at the AT&T Byron Nelson for 42 years after a 63 on Sunday helped him to a narrow victory.
Lee began the final round at TPC Craig Ranch four shots behind the Colombian Sebastian Munoz, who just fell short of an impressive wire-to-wire win in McKinney.
It was an extremely competitive and unpredictable final round when at one point, Lee and Munoz shared the lead on 20-under-par with Justin Thomas, James Hahn, Hideki Matsuyama and Xander Schauffele.
Jordan Spieth then threw his hat in the ring as he tied for the lead with a birdie on the 8th hole. But after making five birdies on the front nine, Lee took control with a brilliant eagle on the par-5 12th hole and a birdie at the next.
The South Korean reached 25-under-par and put himself at arm's length from the field with another birdie on the 72nd hole. Spieth would go on to finish in outright second place.
