LIV Golf's Cameron Smith plans SHOCK return to The Players Championship
"He literally gives no s**ts" - Cameron Smith is planning a shock return at The Players Championship.
LIV Golf's Cameron Smith is planning a shock return on site at this week's Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.
Smith narrowly won this flagship PGA Tour event by one shot 12 months ago shortly before going on to win the 150th Open.
The Australian then decided to accept a huge fee to join LIV Golf, meaning he is no longer eligible to compete on the PGA Tour.
That fee was reportedly north of $100m.
But while Smith is not able to return to defend his title at the Players Championship this week, he has told GOLF that he may very well head down to watch some of the action.
