Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy bank astronomical (!) PGA Tour bonuses
Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy picked up huge bonuses from the PGA Tour after they finished inside the top-10 of the FedEx Cup standings.
Reigning Masters champion Jon Rahm has his eyes firmly on the $18m winner's cheque the FedEx Cup champion will receive.
But the Spaniard has already scooped a mind-boggling $4m before the 2023 playoffs have even begun.
Rahm collected the seven-figure sum for finishing inside the top-10 of the FedEx Cup standings.

A cool $20m in bonuses was spread amongst Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Max Homa, Wyndham Clark, Brian Harman, Viktor Hovland, Keegan Bradley, Rickie Fowler and Tony Finau.
The resurgent Jason Day, who stepped back into the winner's circle in 2023, was the bubble boy and missed out on an extra bonus.
Scheffler earned a bonus of $3m whereas Northern Ireland's McIlroy banked $2.4m.

The PGA Tour have now released the full schedule as the North American circuit reverts back to a calendar-year based structure for the first time in more than a decade.
Tiger Woods' tournament has retained a 36-hole cut and the winner will scoop $4m.
The 2024 FedEx Cup champion will also receive a staggering $25m, up from $18m.
As for Rahm, he heads into the FedEx St. Jude Championship searching for his fifth win of the season.
His season, on paper, has been staggering. He posted as many as 10 top-10 finishes alongside his wins at Augusta National, the Tournament of Champions, American Express and the Genesis Invitational.
