Volvo China Open prize money 2025: Check out how much the field won as Ashun Wu claimed his home open for the second time in his career at Enhance Anting Golf Club in Shanghai.
Ashun Wu carded a stunning final round of 65 to claim the Volvo China Open for the second time in his career.
Wu, 39, won his home open for the first time way back in 2015.
He began the day among the chasing pack at Enhance Anting Golf Club but stormed to the top of the leaderboard with five birdies on the back nine to reach 14-under.
Wu finished one clear of England's Jordan Smith. Germany's Yannik Paul finished solo third on 12-under.
Former LIV Golf recruit Eugenio Chacarra, along with Chinese duo Zecheng Dou and Haotong Li, finished tied for fourth on 11-under.
This represent's Wu's fifth DP World Tour title.
"It is very special, that was 10 years ago when I won the Volvo China Open in Shanghai," Wu told Sky Sports.
"That was 10 years ago and to come back to Shanghai, and win again, it is a great story.
"It was a great round, I played great golf this week. You are always happy to win your own country's open, so very, very exciting."
He added: "On the back nine, I felt I had more chances to make birdies and still be patient, keep going and never give up. Five birdies on the back nine I think, so that is wonderful. It was a really, really good game today.
"He [Smith] pushed me to make some birdies on the back nine, I just said to myself to be patient, the chances are coming.
"It's an incredible week, there are incredible fans here and lovely golf course. It's my home, Shanghai, even after a couple of rounds I felt relaxed because I was playing at home. Shanghai has given me luck."
The 2025 Volvo China Open had a total prize purse of €2.2m.
That meant Wu took home the top prize of €381,213.83.
