Jon Rahm collected a cool $1.3 million after earning his first win on the PGA Tour since his memorable 2021 US Open triumph last June following a narrow one-shot victory at the Mexico Open at Vidanta.
Rahm was a warm favourite heading into the week and he duly delivered a seventh PGA Tour title, which now moves him ahead of compatriot Jose Maria Olazabal for Spanish wins on the PGA Tour.
